I have been trying several different ways to re-invent myself over the past several months. We may not agree with the perceptions of others, but unless we know how we're perceived, we stand little chance of improving our relationships and effectiveness with them. Feedback also gives us another opportunity to reflect on our behavior from the view point of others. It provides outside perspectives on the exploration of our inner space.

Are you so future focused that you forget to look back at what you've done and give yourself an A for effort? It's important to know where you're going, but equally critical to know where you've been. One of the best ways to measure progress towards your goals is to write down important things you've tackled in the recent past.

When you associate the skills you will learn in your major with others you will gain from full-time work, internships, and other activities, you will have the ability to shift in a variety of directions. Most people have numerous careers and jobs during their employment lives.
