Having played internet poker for up to annually I've stood a chance to compare both the largest internet poker sites. Both poker rooms offer plenty of alternatives for MTT (multi-table tournament) poker players. I like both sites. There are a few small advantages that I see with Full Tilt:

1. Hand Replayer - The software on Full Tilt for replaying past hands is way superior on Full Tilt. It is MUCH faster than PokerStars. For some reason on PokerStars you must click through each card being dealt then antes, etc. It is very cumbersome and takes up valuable time when attempting to evaluate an online poker hand and take notes on your own opponents.

2. $2-$3 Tournaments: Sometimes you only think that playing a small field (75-300 players) $2-$3 MTT to have some practice or construct your bankroll while minimizing your risk. These are simple to find on Full Tilt but you are nonexistent on PokerStars. I guess you can just always play a SNG tournament of your similar size on PokerStars making this really not a critical issue.

3. Sizing Tables: On Full Tilt Poker I am able to produce a table use up my entire monitor if I desire. This is great if you aren't multi-tabling. I know it is tough to trust, although not everybody multi-tables on a regular basis. On PokerStars the tables possess a fixed width and so are unable to refill my entire widescreen computer monitor.

The last two merchandise is not that's doubtful major issues for the majority of internet poker players, but I go about doing believe that the better software for replaying previous hands is usually a serious problem for some. I use both sites and can continue to do so. Full Tilt and PokerStars are respected inside on-line poker industry as evidenced by the huge quantities of players playing on each site. Elite poker professionals have associated themselves with each site to lend even more credibility. For those players not willing to take the plunge into playing poker for real money, there are free games positioned on both platforms.
