This weeks’s tutorial is ‘The Glow Up’. Highlighting (excuse the pun), your inner goddess. The idea here is to create a look that gives you a glossy, natural finish whilst providing full coverage without making you look sweaty! It’s easier than it sounds; I assure you. Just follow my tutorial and you can’t go wrong! 1. Always prep and prime your skin. C’mon now people you know my NUMBER ONE RULE: clean, moisturise and prime! This step is so important so that you can protect your skin and give your makeup a long lasting finish! 2. Mix your foundation and liquid highlight. Use the ratio 2:1 (foundation to highlight). It gives you a glossy finish without looking like a disco ball! 3. When it comes to your eyes use MATTE eyeshadow to begin with- working from darker outer edges to lighter inner corners followed by the same process with a shimmer shadow.

The ICONIC PALETTE is perfect for this. Make sure you put a nice douse of sparkles into the corners of the eye to lift and brighten. 4. Use a liquid liner to finish with a sultry cat-eye. Lord & Berry is my recommendation. 5. LIPS, LIPS, LIPS: use a darker liner to outline then a softer gloss to highlight the centre palette of the lip. 6. Self-Portrait’s shows are all about texture - we can expect bold and bright lace cocktail dresses, silk gowns, and ruffles on everything. We can expect some big names adorning the runway for Longchamp’s Saturday show. Models that have previously walked for Longchamp include Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner. It’s set to be a feast for the eyes. Ralph Lauren know how to cause a social media stir when it comes to fashion week. At the Spring 2019 show earlier this year, breakfast was served to an intimate audience in Ralph’s cafe on Madison Avenue where supermodels glided down a grand staircase wearing dresses showered in sequins and all gold accessories. Tory Burch, aka the God of leather goods, runway show is not to be missed. The Fall 2019 runway showcased a collection inspired by the free spirit. Will we see more of the same? Jason Wu’s collections always have a sophisticated and refined feel. Simplicity is key and we’re ready to gawp over some chic minimalist styles this weekend. The boss of celebrity collaborations, Tommy Hilfiger’s NYFW show is set to be a star-dazzled affair. The show will mark Hilfiger’s second collab with actor Zendaya. We’ve been told to expect an online virtual reality commerce experience so viewers from around the world can visit a virtual pop-up and shop the styles as worn by the runway models.
