Sofia Richie X Missguided has dropped. We collaborated with style icon and supermodel Sofia Richie, to create an exclusive collection, available to shop now. By the age of 14, Sofia Richie had already graced the cover of Teen Vogue. Since then, she has built a brand for herself as a model, business-woman and aspirational icon. Just temporary, it was a new look for the Brit model and proved why we love to keep a watch on her fashion moves. When Miley Cyrus made a style statement with slogans in a ‘Do It’ bubblegum pink dress. We’re not sure we will Miley but A for effort on this one - she’s definitely never one to play it safe. And finally we’re back to Rihanna, because what would a 2015 fashion round-up be without this iconic yellow dress that sparked hundreds of internet memes? Sure it’s a little bit crazy and in your face but every camera was on her. So what do we take from this? Maybe don’t drag half of your nan’s carpet around your shoulders the next time you get invited to a black tie event but try something new. We caught up with mega babe Alex Serruys to get the 411 on her fire style and fave things. Describe your style in 3 words… Girly (deffo), for everyone, colourful! Where do you get your outfit inspo? I’ve always been interested in fashion and have even been the PA to the CEO of the British Fashion Council, and it was here that I took a real interest in emerging British designer talent, but to be honest I do my own thaaang styling wise, it’s just nice to discover new brands! Always a skinny jean. I think a good skinny jean can be teamed up with anything on top from a hoody to a blouse or t-shirt and still look super cute all year round! Is there a celeb you think is killing it? Holly Willoughby is just style goals, she wears so many different brands from high street to designer and it’s usually pretty colourful and girly, and I just love it. I don’t think there’s an outfit she is dressed in that I see and don’t NEED immediately!
What trends are you loving right now? I’m obsessed with the blazer look, but dressed down with jeans and trainers! I live in trainers and just think this look is so chic and definitely my kind of vibe. If I had to live in one outfit forever… Jeans, snuggly jumper and trainers. Describe your perfect weekend… My perfect weekend would be waking up in Amsterdam, wandering down the canal and getting brunch, followed by some shopping. Then I’d grab a slice of apple pie, hop on a bike and move to the next district and grab a cocktail. The next day, more wandering and taking pictures, followed by a delicious dinner and an early night in front of a movie! A style tip you should know about… Invest in a decent pair of trainers, regularly! If I’m heading out, I’ll wear… I’ll take off the trainers and put on a chunky heel boot, with a cute as hell dress and faux leather jacket. If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be… Tough one… It would have to be LA or the Caribbean. I live to travel in hot climates and one of my FAVE things to do ever is scuba diving in the tropics! If you could offer anyone advice about becoming an influencer, what would you say? Just be YOU, don’t try to be someone you’re not. Don’t force a style, or an opinion. You need to be real and enjoy showing off the world what you have to offer as YOU, no one wants to see a mimic of someone/something else.
