Knife found in waikerie murder weapon search

A knife belonging to a man who was stabbed with a meat cleaver at the Kalloum Beach Club, on Sunday, was found in a dumpster near the club's entrance, according to police.

A second blade belonging to the same man was found on the side of a road. The blade, which had not been seen previously, was found attached to a steel pole at about 2 p.m. Monday, police said.

Police were at the club Monday evening, but were not able to recover the knife. A tip led to the search on Tuesday, they said.

A second person was arrested after a joint search of a dumpster near the Kalloum Beach Club, around 100 meters north of West Beach Drive, 바카라 located at about 9:30 p.m. on Monday. Officers were still looking for the person that was allegedly responsible for the attack, and they received the knife earlier Monday.

Mental Health

The Department of Mental Health said the woman stabbed and injured in the attack was found at an area hospital with a nonlife-threatening stab wound, and had not been able to speak to officers.
