Have you ever noticed how female and male poker players tend to have different playing styles during free poker games?

My observation is the fact that female poker players are usually a bit more careful than male players. Women often play hands less frequently, and simply pack up small pots in order to keep above water. In comparison males are often more aggressive, take more risks and chase larger pots.

Another observation is always that it could be much easier to push a female off a pot when compared to a male player. Women often stay away from the larger pots as I've mentioned already. That's why it is usually better to purchase a pot from a lady player than against a male.

Now before anyone gets angry I'm not taking anything from the female game with this point, I just feel that women tend to play more of a conservative game which could also be a bonus to them.

This happens because men have a tendency to move to fast a little bit. They'll make an effort to force hands which aren't can be. Not to say that only they certainly it, but once again, it's only something I've noticed from playing myself. It seems being especially prevalent in free poker games and tournaments where regardless of the not enough risk the women play a much more sensible game with a far more strategic objective as opposed to an all-in and hope mentality.

Of course all people have their flaws and strong points and it's really not simply as a result of gender! You'll find super cautious male players and extremely aggressive women.
