Tight Aggressive Poker Strategy In Low-Limit Online Poker

In high limit hold'em games you need to be very tricky and artistic so as to make money. In low limit hold'em games it is a bit different. Of course creativeness and aggressiveness are also advantages but a tight strategy might be just as profitable.

What do I mean by tight strategy? It does not mean you merely need to use pocket aces or kings. In late positions that can be done some blind stealing with reasonable hands and that's enough to remain for your stack size. This means that even though you have no great hands but you steal blinds occasionally your stack will remain the same size and you may not lose it slowly. This is crucial because when you invest in your big hand and acquire involved in an all-in you need to have full stack size.

Now I analyze a hand where I was a part of a gamer in a huge pot and my note told me what direction to go.

I was playing in a $0,50/$1 blind level, 9 handed no limit hold'em table. My stack was $89,95 around the button and everybody folded if you ask me. I made the call and my opponent showed 4h7h with an inside straight draw along with a flush draw. What a shame that Kh hit the river and completed his flush. My opponent won the $116,60 pot by hitting one of his 12 outs.

As you can view your notes can make a huge difference in large pots. It solved the problem a lot to read my opponent in a very key situation. Unfortunately he hit his 27% (12 outs from the 44 remaining cards) but in poker that takes place. All you can do is play your very best poker so when you're going all-in you lay back and hope for the best.
