Did Leena's boyfriend steal fleet of luxury cars? The top-of-the-range vehicles have a total value of more than Rs 20 crore. Though the actress and her live-in partner Chandrashekhar were allegedly involved in a cheating case that secured them Rs 19 crore, the police suspect that some of the cars were stolen by Chandrashekhar. The actress's boyfriend managed to give police the slip in a Land Cruiser. In Chennai, Chandrashekhar had reportedly duped a man out of Rs 19 crore by promising him a major favour through his contacts in the Karnataka government. He posed as a government official and lured the man into taking a loan from Canara Bank.
After the man was unable to repay the loan, the managing director of the bank, V. Jagadish, approached the police. Officers suspect that the recovered cars might have been stolen by Chandrashekhar because all of them have registration numbers from different states. Sources said the registration number of at least one of the cars - a Rolls Royce Phantom - was found to be incorrect. Another car, a Nissan, is registered in the name of a South Delhi resident. The recovered Aston Martin has a West Bengal registration number. If the fact that the cars are stolen is proven, the duo might face theft charges along with those of cheating. Interestingly, the Land Cruiser in which Chandrashekhar fled had a Congress sticker on it. He reportedly obtained the sticker from a minister's relative in Karnataka.

If I were to choose only one holiday destination I am allowed to in India, I would choose Goa. Because like most days, today also before trying to pen down anything, I decided to go through all our Goa pictures first. And I actually noticed that my son looked exceptionally happy, playing with water in every single picture. I believe not just me but most people would choose Goa. We have been going to Goa every year since the last 12 years. It’s a great destination for couples, it is a great destination for friends traveling together, it’s a great destination for family get - together, and it is definitely a great destination to take kids to who come alive in water. Goa, in southwest of India, is its smallest state with an amazing coastline stretching along the Arabian sea.
It is known for its beaches & shacks, Portuguese cultural influence, fenny, sea food, flea markets, Carnival (as well as Sunburn festival) and many more things. Goa is looked up as three regions North Goa (also including Old Goa), South Goa and everything else (which is brilliant places like Dudhsagar, Mangeshi temple and the likes). Panjim, the capital though mostly being north goa hotels, connects to the rest of the state. North is where you have lot of activities, night life, besides beautiful beaches, flea markets and party friendly resorts. South has lesser crowd, laid back life, green paddy fields & white sandy beaches. Most well known luxury hotels with private beaches are in the south. Old Goa (principally portuguese city from 1510 until its abandonment in 1835) on the other hand is primarily known for its churches.
If the old saying 'tidy house, tidy mind' holds true, then the mini studio-cum-'man cave' currently occupied by Bombay Bicycle Club frontman Jack Steadman is a worrying visual depiction of a chaotic mind. Luckily, that is completely at odds with the friendly, softly spoken bookish 20-something currently nibbling on a handful of olives. A mixing desk sits in front of the Ernst print, with speakers boasting petite jam jars on top, a copy of a vintage book on fishing sits on the coffee table. This little room of wonders in a non-descript office building in west London is where Steadman has been listening to the final mixes of songs from the band's forthcoming as-yet-untitled fourth studio album. It's all very exciting and actually a bit of privilege to be witness to a very small piece of history being made.
The track is gorgeous, a long intro of descending minor chords before Steadman's airy falsetto waltzes in and out of a gentle melody. A false ending gives way to a full on, euphoric smack round the face ending. Steadman admits: "We wanted something that was a little bit like the Chemical Brothers". Just a few tracks have so far been released to the music press and admittedly without having heard much of the new album, it would be inappropriate to suggest it is the perfect finale. Formed as The Canals in Crouch End in London in 2005 when they were teenagers, they eventually settled on Bombay Bicycle Club after a chain of Indian restaurants.
Carry Me is the first track from the new album to have had its first play on national radio, on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show. It kicks off with range of samples and synthesizers and, at first listen, the electronic sound seems to be a radical departure from the three albums which precede it. However subsequent buzz on social networking sites has been positive despite Steadman's worries about fans' reactions.youtube.com Take that would-be haters. The song's video too, is a massive step forward and allows the viewers to animate the band and two dancers. They have used stop-motion animation before in the video for How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep from their last album.
Feel, another of the albums tracks begins with a sample of Bollywood-style music, influenced by a month Steadman spent in Mumbai. Rather than following the rather cliched well-trodden path of travelling to India to find himself spiritually, the singer immersed himself in the fast-moving, cacophonous buzz of the city which is home to 20 million people. Nash, however, admits he spent the same amount of time in the altogether more sedate setting of Goa, the beach resort on India's west coast, "Yeah, I took one for the team," he smiles. Another track, Luna, begins with an Indian Tabla drum before launching into a piece of '80s-inspired synth-pop. Recorded at The Kinks' Konk Studios in London, the album is the first that Steadman has entirely produced himself. And the Chemical Brothers reference suggests the band want fans at forthcoming live shows to pull on their dancing shoes. There's a few things in the pipeline," said Nash. "It needs to sum up Eadweard Muybridge and loops and themes of the album.
