Instead of observing them and learning from them, we are taught to mentally perturb ourselves or steer clear of the feeling. We perhaps may not even consider the chance that our inner most satisfaction is not really contingent on what other people do or say, but instead on the way we conduct our own lives. What we do to others, is done to us. This is known as the law of karma. This is true of our outward actions , but also strongly impacted by our secret wishes and fantasies. We must be thoughtful of our inner attitude towards ourselves and planet earth , it determines everything. Trying to learn to adjust our lives, so that it backs a maturing uplifting inner mindset towards all, is critical for our health and contentment . To do this, we must become better at noticing how we feel in the present moment, and making up one's mind if the experience is something we truly want to reduplicate . We can also learn from our past. However, we need the ability to neutrally review it.

If you are like me, then you may have been reinforced for years for selective memory . We are instructed to brush off and deny those factors in our lives that we do n't like. We may be privy to this tendency after a agonizing pregnancy , for instance.
