This morning Arizona Governor Jan Brewer was whining to Greta Van Susterenthat President Obama did not invite her to the immigration talks he is holding at the White House. This occurred on the heals of Brewer's snub of the Tea Party when she vetoed Arizona's eligibility bill which many worked so hard to get through the Arizona legislature. The disdain with which Obama is treating the governor is the same disdain the governor is using towards the Tea Party when it comes to the eligibility bill. It is almost as if this is therapy for her. She resents being trashed so she has to take it out on well meaning people like the Tea Party and she goes out of her way to trash them. There is a type of human being who thinks this way.

11. Food. Farm commodities prices drop eventually due to weak demand. Small farms get hurt most. Reduced income means they cannot buy as many goods and services as well as new equipment. Now, in 2011 prices are up due to reflation by the government and high oil prices. Right now, the high cost of food sucks money out of people's pockets. They can't afford to buy stuff or go out to restaurants. Layoffs result. It's deflationary!
The POTUS is not supposed to tell the nation we are racist if we enforce the Federal immigration laws that have been on the books for decades. That usurper took an oath to "uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America." The usurper was dishonest when he did so. Obama pretends recessions end when government grows exponentially. Odd in that history does not bear that out so well - or in fact, at all.
We went to the Ogunquit Playhouse last night. "The Drowsy Chaperone" was the first presentation of the year. I got a little drowsy at the beginning, but a couple of tap dancers livened me up. Because of the rumors around town, I expected uproarious comedy within a musical. What I got was a pleasant continuous giggle and a couple of belly laughs. I thoroughly enjoyed Carson Kressley, because he can't "overplay" anything. His background antics were at times better than the players on stage. The dancing was spectacular, though, and the costumes were the best I have seen there.
Obama and his sycophants position him as if he's just so noble he is going to right all the wrongs, and to hear him tell it now and in his campaign, there is far more wrong than right in the USA. He is so arrogant that five days before the election he informed us "we are five days away from fundamentally transforming America," and he was telling the truth for one of the few times in his campaign.
