Left: A gown with cutaway shoulders and high neck, black on high, chestnut brown on backside. Worn with a leather-based belt and multiple necklaces. Right: One shoulder dress, black on prime, red on backside. Worn with a leather belt and a number of bangle bracelets. Both dresses by Henry Rosenfeld. A simple rayon crepe top is worn with a beige rayon shantung skirt that ties at the front. Both items are by B.H. Wragge. Set offered for $23 in 1945 (about $289 in as we speak's greenback.) The model wears a Lilly Dache snood in her hair. The same B.H. Wragge top is paired with a long sarong skirt in black and white cotton batik by Mady Martell. A sparkling brooch is pinned at the highest of the sarong wrap. A black surplice jersey knit top worn with a rayon taffeta evening skirt in purple, white and inexperienced plaid. A gold metallic belt finishes the look. A Minx Modes sundress seems like separates. The top has large shoulder straps and swirling embroidery. The skirt is striped in yellow, black and gray.

Hi Tammy, this hub purchased back memories of when i labored in my mom's prom/night-put on shop. I do know what you are thinking, but I hardly ever went near the dresses. I took care of the entire business and monetary side of issues. Although seeing that Princess dress reminded me of two that we had that were very similar, we referred to as them sugar and sugar plum. I do remember every so often a few of the girls mom's asking my opinion of a prom costume, guess they only wanted a man's perspective eh? Great work. Voted up.
