Fire Goliaths are excellent for Charisma-based gishes (equivalent to Paladins, Swords Bards, and any Sorcerer/Warlock/Paladin multiclass). Frost Goliaths and Golyclopes make stellar tanks with some good roleplaying taste. Hill Goliath Barbarians can enter a "super-rage" of kinds as soon as a day. And Storm Goliaths make powerful and flavorful Eldritch Knights, War Wizards, and Bladesingers!
Granted voadkyn are only a made up thing and firbolg are a part of the creation prehistory "fable-story" of Ireland. So I get it. But we are going to continue to be told, I am sure, that the Forgotten Realms will not be 5e classes D&D's default setting. But settle for and buy the model! I do assume that this model of the Firbolg has a extra constant design, and I assume the "robust human" area of interest is already being crammed by the Goliath. It could be nice to have a race that may enlarge itself that does not have the baggage of the duergar although.
