AYIA NAPA, Cyprus--(Business WIRE)--On twenty seventh September, "Floral Whisper alongside the Silk Road—Culture Journey of Maritime Silk Road" marks a successful finish in Cyprus. It is a global campaign to speed up the cultural construction of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the "Belt and Road" Initiative. Organized by Administration of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Press and Publication of Guangzhou Municipality, the cultural journey came about on September twenty first, twenty fourth and 26-27th in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Cyprus respectively.

Despite its strategic discomfort, it's important for India to rigorously assess the MSR initiative and discover its potential advantages. China’s efforts to broaden maritime infrastructure capacities in India’s backyard, while furthering its own economic and geopolitical pursuits, provide India the chance to obtain Chinese funding into its developing home maritime infrastructure. The problem for Indian policymakers is to maximise these alternatives while safeguarding the country’s safety imperatives.

As well as, Professor Peter Steiner, the Yunshan Scholar of GDUFS, participated in the event as a mentor, offering research steering for the scholars. At the primary night, Professor Steiner gave a lecture on Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), introducing basic data of the initiative. He elaborated on the evolution of BRI and the vital routes, corridors and ports.

There’s no doubt that China’s BRI aim has an enormous "geo-strategic element to it", he mentioned. "You can see it within the delivery of the Belt and Road Initiative. It was a defensive response to the Obama Administration’s pivot to Asia. Beijing needed to strengthen commerce links and strategic links. "It’s an funding mission to encourage trade. But, there’s a component of companies who're a part of BRI being expected to do the State’s bidding.
