Uwa study reveals wa farmers support foreign investment in Kenya. The authors reported on data gathered from 6,002 wa farmers in Kenya and Uganda, using an online survey of 6,722 households between April 2014 and March 2015. The data showed that almost 9 out of 10 wa farmers supported foreign investment in Kenya. Wa farmers who supported foreign investment in Kenya supported it to a significantly greater extent than wa farmers whose livelihood was affected by drought, lack of water, or human rights violations.
