Your favourite clothing is not made to be put away - as you wear these items regularly, they will occasionally need to be cleaned. Here are some tips to keep your clothes looking as good as new! 1. Organize your clean clothes, with jackets, dresses, blouses and skirts on suitable hangers.

Tops, tunics and trousers can be folded. Sort into summer and winter clothing, and maybe use protective garment bags for items that are put away for the season. 2. If your clothing has gathered smells like cigarette smoke, allow the garments to air out on a hanger-maybe even in the garden. For your wardrobe, you can use Scented sachets to spread the fresh aroma of lavender. 3. Every so often your garments will need to be cleaned. Check the manufacturer’s label to see if an item goes into the washing machine, and whether you can use a dryer. 4. Wash coloured garments with similarly coloured items only, using special detergents. 5. Delicate and/or embroidered items should be laundered inside out and maybe placed in a laundry net. 6. Close buttons and zippers to avoid damaging them and causing damage to other items. 7. Stains can be treated with stain removers before washing.
