De CidesaWiki
It’s the city that never sleeps, and the fashion blogger scene is just as buzzing as the atmosphere. With such ‘grammable backdrops for photos, it’s no surprise that NYC is the place to be for bloggers, and here are some of our faves to add to your follow list. Erika Fox is living all of our dreams. Originally from Ireland, Erika moved over on a short-term visa and she was recently granted permission to live permanently in the city and work full time on her blog, Retro Flame. Her style is all about sophisticated tailoring, and she loves to mix the high street with international independent brands. Her apartment is gorgeous too, so follow her for all the fashion and interior inspo. Having lived in the city since 2013, Dutch-born Bo is an expert at seeking out the best NYC locations to shoot for her blog. The result? A whirlwind tour of the city via her Instagram feed. She’s also a dog mum to the cutest little fluffy pup we’ve ever seen. Nonetheless still some of my favorite winter pieces!

Courtney & Kelly are cousins and blogger pros. They don’t just delve into the world of fashion, but they fill their blog with wise words that we all need to know, from ex-boyfriends to Manhattan’s hidden spots off the tourist trail. NYC winters are known for being famously freezing, but these gals know how to rock the faux fur layers. New York’ (a feeling we all know too well), blogger Michaela is the queen of monochrome and neutral tones. If you’re looking for an aesthetically pleasing grid, her Instagram is the place to go. You won’t see much of the city’s famous sights here, but her style is enough to deserve a follow all by itself. Do you recognize this diner from a certain TV show? Here’s a hint: it’s pretty Marvelous. 😉 See this full look over on the blog today, featuring the perfect slouchy leather boots from @andotherstories. Direct link in bio. Krystal, the creator of This Time Tomorrow is a travel blogger, but her base is in New York with her cute dog Elvis. On Krystal’s feed, you won’t see the classic tourist spots - the Empire State, the Top of the Rock or the Statue of Liberty - but you will see hidden gems and locations you may recognise from the TV. Sunday on the lower east side. Boots link on Instagram stories ☕️ . Bomber: @andotherstories Boots: @ganni Jeans:@hm (2 yrs old) Bag: @loewe . Karen is a British gal in NYC and she’s all about the prints. In her imagery, you’ll spot hints of the city - the classic yellow taxis, the brownstone stoops and the striped crossings. Karen’s style is Britannia-cool meets All American confidence. If you ain’t afraid of a bit of colour and print, you’ll find plenty of inspo on this feed.
It’s been estimated that the average American throws away nearly 65 pounds of clothing each year - a frightening amount of waste. Apps like Depop and Poshmark allow users to buy and sell used garments and make the transaction of secondhand clothes fun and simple. Like it or not, shopping is one of our central public activities, and a core social connector. In short, people like to get out into the world. Smart Mirrors may not be the technology that saves Brick & Mortar, but it will certainly enhance traditional shopping experiences and make them a great deal more efficient. Memomi is a digital mirror that allows you to change the color of your clothing or add accessories without actually doing physically. View yourself in real time from all angles or whip through a variety of outfits in a matter of seconds. November saw Ralph Lauren launch interactive mirrors in its flagship location in New York City. It allows you to alter your fitting room’s lighting, request a new size, browse through store items and interact with sale associates. You can also send a product’s information to your phone should you want to purchase it another day. Let’s face it: more is not more. If you’ve ever moved or faced a situation that forced you to confront the amount of stuff you’ve accumulated, you’ll understand.
One of the biggest inspirations for most women has got to be Ashley Graham. The Queen of all things fashion, self-love and just being real. We just dropped our second collection with this fierce female. Ashley Graham inspiring us, but to keep it short and sweet we have narrowed it down to our top 5 iconic moments. Her opening line to this incredible speech was ‘you are bold, you are brilliant and you are beautiful’. This speech is all about Ashley’s journey of being a plus-size model and how society should start to look at all models. Did you know in the modeling industry, ‘plus size’ starts at a US Size 8? This would make most women plus-size. How does that staple make you feel? Ashley is ALL about losing the staple of plus-size and making sizing in clothing more accessible for all women with no stigma. Ashley is the first model to start a podcast and so far has been a massive hit. From guest appearances from the likes of Kim Kardashian, Amy Schumer & Serina Williams they have covered topics that every girl is all for. From dealing with life in the public eye to feminism, this is something you’re going to want to give a listen. Although we all love the Victoria Secret shows, we can’t but feel it is missing something. Ashley Graham threw shade’s at the company for not feeling inclusive and the brand blazer dresses - over at this website, not representing all women. We hope we see her on that runway with the angels soon. Don’t for a second think that Ashley doesn’t care about her health. This body advocate shares videos on her Instagram of her KILLING it in the gym and opening talks about how a balanced diet is essential.
BasharatyanV is a British brand launched in 2010 by the talented, young fashion designer Veronica Basharatyan, who specializes in creating outstanding, individually tailored women’s clothing using unique, luxurious fabrics. What motivated and inspired you to start your own business? At the age of 7, I was watching a soap opera called "Mi Segunda Madre", where the lead actress was a fashion designer. I totally fell in love with the idea of creating beautiful garments for women… ’s when it all started. Tell us about your business. We launched BASHARATYAN V in 2010 right after I graduated from the London College of Fashion. Ever since then, we’ve participated in Milan’s Fashion Week, London’s Fashion Week and took part in various trade shows in Paris. In 2010, I received an award for "Best Young Fashion Designer in Russia", that’s how I got to show my very first collection during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Russia in September 2011. Showing my collection on the main schedule in Milan and participating in London Paris Week has been two amazing accomplishments for a start up fashion label.
