A nightmarish terror attack in London saw at least 22 people injured.


The tragedy unfolded outside Borough Market Tube Station in north London shortly after 5pm, with at least 22 people injured on Saturday.


Witnesses said the incident came just as police were making a security assessment of the scene and taking victims to hospital, while there was no official confirmation from the Metropolitan police at the scene.


"The incident has gone on for a number of minutes and is not linked to the events that happened at Borough market this morning," Chief Constable Charlie Beck, 바카라 said.


A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Independent : "I was going up the escalator and there was a man screaming, 'Where the hell are you? Why haven't you come out?'

The attacker ran up the escalator towards us so then we started running along the side saying, 'Do you know where you are going, do you know where you're going?'"

"It was like he was trying to pull us off and I just ran towards them saying, 'Get away from here!' " he said.


Another witness, who wished to remain anonymous, added: "At the moment, we have no idea what the attacker had in mind.


"When you hear the sound of his screams, you can't really know exactly what has happened."
