Lt. Brian Rice, who initially pursued Gray on a Baltimore street when Gray fled after Rice made eye contact April 12, declared three years ago that he "could not continue to go on like this" and threatened to commit an act that was censored in the public version of a report obtained by the AP from the Carroll County, Maryland, Sheriff's Office. Rice lived in the county, about 35 miles northwest of Baltimore. At the time, deputies were responding to a request to check on his welfare by a fellow Baltimore police officer who is the mother of Rice's son.

If the plaintiffs prevail in the Republican-supported case, the justices could annul federal subsidies helping around 7.7 million people afford coverage in more than 30 states. Republicans broadly agree that Congress should respond by temporarily replacing that aid, aware that abruptly ending it would anger millions of voters before next year's presidential and congressional elections.

One of the most attention-grabbing topics addressed was the use of Eco-Labels and the growing importance of third party certification programs to determine the true extent of a green hotels sustainability initiatives. A consensus was reached that there is an immense need for the hospitality industry to determine a clearer definition of a truly green hotel. This would help to reward those hotels that implement and maintain robust sustainability programs and marginalize those that overstate or completely green-wash their efforts for short-term gain. During the question and answer sessions, discussions developed on how to differentiate the hard work required to achieve various green hotel certifications and which of those programs garner the most credibility amongst the traveling public and sustainability professionals.

Pontevedra is one of the most seductive cities in Galicia. According to legend, Pontevedra was founded by the Greek warrior Teucro, who fought in Troy. Historians say that the city developed thanks to the sardine fishing until the middle of the 16th century when the port was completely covered by sand. As a result of its former prosperity, Pontevedra has numerous old buildings, very refined, built in granite, especially in the old part of the city. Nowadays, this part of the city is pedestrian. Squares like Praza de Teucro and Praza de Verdura are still full of traditional products that tourists can buy at good prices. Prazza de Herreria is another place where tourists can go sightseeing. The square has a lot of gardens supervised by the monastery and by the Church of San Francisco, dating back to the 14th century. Opposite may be found the unusual Neo-Classic church Virgen la Peregrina, built in an elliptical form in order to host the statue of the citys patron. To the west, in the old fishing district, the
Plateresque church Santa la Mayor is located. The powerful guild of fishermen built it in the 16th century. Some biblical scenes on the western facadeimpress tourists by their purity and beauty. The 17th century mansion that used to belong to Castro Monteagudo exposes splendid Celtic jewellery dating back to 700 before Christ, as well as a collection of Spanish, Italian and Flemish Renaissance paintings. The museum continues in a beautiful house next door, now completely restored, that used to belong to Garcia Florez.
