Australias science budget uninspiring

By the end of 2015 the budget was not as uninspiring as the government initially claimed.

The budget announced by the Premier of the Northern Territory would make $20 million from funding the development of new water treatment plants. The program received funding in the Northern Territory Government's 2014-2015 budget and a commitment of $17 million.

There were plans to also develop water treatment facilities at two schools at Northern Territory Government schools, in Darwin and Darwin River.

These are both located in northern NSW so the NT Government budget will generate no savings by not paying out to the schools.

The NT government would get $17 million from the development of new Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Tamanini and $30 million from funding the completion of the $40 million Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Wainui, including $20 million for developing the $20 million WTP.

This would amount to only $6.7 million from the NT budget.

With more resources from the Territory budget, the cost for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Tamanini could be reduced by 80 per cent!

This means that the NT government would save $5.6 million on the Water Treatment Plant ($34 million in the NT budget).

However, a key point to note from this budget report is that the government would not be in a position to make good on its promise to increase tax revenue by 50 per cent, by making changes to the NT tax system.

The main reasons for not making these changes are that:

The NT budget has an under current revenue provision of $7.8 million.

The NT government cannot find sufficient funding to fund the NT Infrastructure Commission and it has no additional funds available.

The NT government did not receive the $4.2 million from the NT Water and 바카라 Power Fund for the Water Treatment Plant at Tamanini.

New $400,000 for Water Treatment plant at Tamanini, WTP and the water supply at Wainui.

The NT government will save a lot by increasing revenue, however, the money will not be fully utilised.

There is a reason that the NT Budget is currently being re-budgeted.

The NT government was not able to provide sufficient revenue on the existing water budget.

The NT government has a surplus, which means that the NT Government can create a debt surplus of more than $100 million with the use of new revenues.

On top of that, 바카라 because of the debt, the NT Government will be unable to raise more revenue and the total fiscal deficit in the NT will be more than $250 million.
