Former nt council ceo accused of using work funds to meet lover's needs
An employee of The City has been accused of having sexual relations with a colleague while working at the centre and then transferring money to his home and being responsible for a pension.
Councillor Anthony Brown (Hertford) has alleged John Ledditch, the general manager, paid the woman an hourly rate for doing nothing more than making sure her house was on the "highway" while his personal car was parked outside and her phone rang continuously.
Ledditch, who works at the center, is the daughter of former councillor David Ledditch, who also held that post for 10 years.
He was a former head of City Hall's communications staff before resigning from council in 2012 in the wake of a sex scandal involving his wife, former council chief executive Michelle McCallion.
But Mr Brown claims a new employment contract in April 2016 gave Mr Ledditch permission to have sexual relations with someone in the centre of his role.
He said the employee's name is now being kept confidential by staff until after the court case, which he said is scheduled for February 20.
He said it would be "quite serious" if the city council were found to have misused funds.

He said he was told on multiple occasions that the sexual relationship between the centre's manager and the woman was between "the two of them" as she was a "nurse" to her son.
Mr Brown was among dozens of councillors who signed a petition in September 2014 to reinstate Mr Ledditch, who was cleared by a New South Wales parliamentary commissioner last month and told the city he did nothing wrong by asking for his resignation.
Mr Brown had also criticised the decision of Deputy Mayor Richard Gordon to stand down in 2012 after he was found to have abused a number of vulnerable men and women, 바카라 including two boys he was alleged to have had sex with in Melbourne as young as 14.
He said the deputy mayor's personal home was burgled as "the centre's main office".
"It's not clear how many of the victims were there, and if there were others, the details are hidden from the public," he said.
"We now know that there were sexual encounters between John Ledditch and at least five other women, some as young as 15. They were all working in the centre."
He said one woman was a "nurse" to a 16-year-old boy, which meant he was in charge of keeping the young boy safe while his mum was out of work.
He also alleged he had sexual intercourse with three other wome
