Confidence, but no rush on fuel excise

Finance Minister Mathias Cormann is confident the Senate will back the measure before October after making what he said was progress in negotiations with the minor party.
But he told ABC TV on Thursday there was no "immediate urgency" and a deal could wait until after parliament's winter break.
