AYIA NAPA, Cyprus--(Business WIRE)--On twenty seventh September, "Floral Whisper along the Silk Road—Culture Journey of Maritime Silk Road" marks a successful finish in Cyprus. It is a world campaign to speed up the cultural building of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the "Belt and Road" Initiative. Organized by Administration of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Press and Publication of Guangzhou Municipality, the cultural journey took place on September twenty first, 24th and 26-27th in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Cyprus respectively.

Despite its strategic discomfort, it is crucial for India to carefully assess the MSR initiative and discover its potential advantages. China’s efforts to expand maritime infrastructure capacities in India’s yard, whereas furthering its personal economic and geopolitical interests, offer India the opportunity to acquire Chinese investment into its developing domestic maritime infrastructure. The challenge for Indian policymakers is to maximise these opportunities while safeguarding the country’s safety imperatives.

As well as, Professor Peter Steiner, the Yunshan Scholar of GDUFS, participated in the event as a mentor, providing analysis steerage for the students. At the first night time, Professor Steiner gave a lecture on Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), introducing basic knowledge of the initiative. He elaborated on the evolution of BRI and the essential routes, corridors and ports.

There’s little doubt that China’s BRI goal has a giant "geo-strategic ingredient to it", he mentioned. "You can see it within the start of the Belt and Road Initiative. It was a defensive response to the Obama Administration’s pivot to Asia. Beijing wanted to strengthen commerce links and strategic links. "It’s an funding venture to encourage commerce. But, there’s a component of firms who are part of BRI being expected to do the State’s bidding.
